2. Meeting Introduction
Welcome to "We Agnostics", a meeting of Sex Addicts Anonymous. My name is _____________ and I am a sex addict.
This is an Open, Mixed meeting, meaning it is open to sex addicts and co-sex addicts of any gender.
[Last Meeting in February, May and August] Tonight we will have a short Business Meeting at the end of our regular meeting. Please stick around for that.
[Last Meeting in November] Tonight we will be doing a short Group Inventory at the end of our regular meeting. Please stick around for that.
To help reduce line noise, please press *6 to mute your phone and Press *6 again to unmute.
Let's begin the meeting with a moment of silence for those who are still suffering in and out of these rooms. (pause)
The "We Agnostics of SAA" group attempts to maintain a tradition of free expression, and conduct a meeting where sex addicts may feel free to express any doubts or disbelief they may have. Our only wish is to assure suffering sex addicts that they can find sobriety in SAA without having to accept anyone else's beliefs or having to deny their own.
3. Readings
Readings have been assigned, and are available at www.saatalk.org if you care to follow along.
(name1), would you please start with "Who We Are"?
And (name2), would you please read "The Twelve Steps"?

Thank you (name3), (name2), and (name1) for your help with the readings!
4. Introductions and Check-Ins
It is now time for General Introductions and Check In. If you are comfortable doing so, please indicate your first name, where you are calling from, and what tools you have used as part of your recovery this week. If you are a newcomer, feel free to identify yourself so that we can welcome you. If you wish to share your Sobriety Birthday, now is the time. Sobriety is defined as time away from your inner circle behaviors.
5. Meeting Format
5.1 [First Week] Step Study
A new step is chosen each time, in order. Choose a step reading from the SAA Green Book, Hope and Recovery, or other SAA literature.

Welcome, everyone. Tonight will be a [Speaker/Reading/Slogan/Topic] meeting. (Introduce Speaker, Reading, Slogan or Topic)
6. Late Introductions
It is now time for anyone that arrived during the reading to introduce him or herself. Please identify yourself by first name and geographic location only.
7. Sharing and Getting Current
The meeting is now open for sharing. Participation is voluntary, we avoid topics that can lead to dissension or distraction. We request no cross-talk please. We define cross-talk as commenting on what another has shared, directing comments toward one individual, asking questions or whispering while another is talking.
We invite newcomers to stay around for the Fellowship at the end of the meeting where we can get to know you, exchange contact information, and invite you to ask questions. Our focus is on making you feel welcome and acknowledging the courage it took getting here.
This meeting is scheduled to run for an hour and a half and there are approximately _____ people on the call, so please keep your shares to about ______ minutes. If your share starts to run over, I may signal you to wrap it up. Who would like to begin?
8. Anonymity
Thank you all for your shares. As a gentle reminder for all of us, anonymity is the spiritual foundation of all our traditions. What you heard here was spoken in confidence and should be treated as confidential. Who we meet or what is said in a meeting is not discussed outside the meeting. Carry no gossip and always remember to place principles before personalities.
9. A Spiritual Awakening
Now (name4) will you please read "A Spiritual Awakening"?
10. Seventh Tradition
Thank you, (name4). Now is the time for the 7th Tradition. The Seventh Tradition states that "every group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions." You can make donations by mailing a check to:
Telemeeting Intergroup
PO Box 434015
Saint Louis, MO 63143
Or you can donate via PayPal at www.saatalk.org. The Telemeeting Intergroup supports all of the telemeetings, and all excess funds are sent to the SAA ISO office.
11. Announcements
[Weeks Three and Four: You may choose to ask for a volunteer to speak at next week's meeting, or suggest a Topic, Slogan or Reading]
Now is the time for announcements. The first announcement is about sponsorship. A sponsor is a person in the Fellowship who acts as a guide to working the program of SAA, a fellow addict that we can rely on for support.
If you would like to have your name and contact information included in a list that is shared with others in the group, please sign up at saatalk.org under “Contact List”. More information and program materials are available at the SAA Web site, saa-recovery.org and at the Telemeeting Web site, www.saatalk.org, and through the SAA office at 1-800-477-8191.
Does anyone have any other SAA-related announcements?
Prompt Intergroup Representative or other trusted servants, review information from weekly Intergroup mailing, SAA mailings. etc.
12. Closing
Let's pause for a moment of silence for those still suffering in and out of these rooms, followed by the Unity Prayer. (pause, then all say the Unity Prayer together)
13. [Last Meeting in February, May and August] Business Meeting
Business Meetings are informal, covering topics that are of interest to the group, that might come up from time to time, such as changes to meeting scripts, appointment of trusted servants, etc. Topics may be planned ahead of time, or brought up at the time of the meeting.
We will now have a brief business meeting, followed by Fellowship.
First, we need someone to Chair for the next few months. Is there anyone who is interested in taking this service position?
Is there any other business to cover?
Being no other business, we will close. Thank you all for your service.
14. [Last Meeting in November] Business Meeting and Short Group Inventory
Start with an abbreviated Business Meeting, mainly to establish a Chair until the next business meeting.
We will now take a quick Group Inventory. This Inventory can take many forms, but the primary purpose is to ensure that we are having the kind of meetings that we want to have. Now is the time to raise criticisms, praise and hopes. It is a chance to address the defects before they cause bigger problems, and identify assets that we can encourage and celebrate.
Does anyone have any comments about the group to share at this point?
Record and take action items to follow up on at future business meetings.
If there is nothing else to share, we will close. Thank you all!
15. Fellowship
Now is the time for Fellowship. You are welcome to stay around or to leave at any time. Feel free to ask questions, get phone numbers, or make comments. We especially welcome newcomers and visitors to stay so we can get to know each other.
